How Nutrition and Clean Eating Help Our Focus

DOWNLOAD YOUR CHECKLIST.

Clean eating is simply creating a balance of fresh foods, fruits, vegetables, and unprocessed foods while staying away from eating processed and sugary foods.

Eating high processed food and high amounts of sugar can contribute to health problems like diabetes, cancer, high blood pressure, brain fog, fatigue, and insomnia just to name a few. This is why people are turning to a clean eating lifestyle so they can enjoy all of the health benefits of eating clean and feeding our bodies.

There are several healthy foods that specifically help our focus and enhance concentration.

BLUEBERRIES:

Research has shown that eating 1 cup of blueberries can boost concentration and memory for up to 5 hours. Blueberries are rich in antioxidants, vitamin C and Vitamin E but most importantly they are high in flavonoids and they activate an enzyme that stimulates oxygen and blood to the brain.

AVOCADOS:

This is a powerhouse fruit with an insane amount of nutrients to improve brain health. Avocados are high in tyrosine-amino acid which is the precursor to dopamine. This keeps our brain motivated and focused.

GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES::

Spinach has a ton of iron and helps keep our energy high but it also has vitamin B which improves our mood and improves memory and focus while slowing down the aging process.

Kale is a nutrition powerhouse packed full of Vitamin C and Vitamin B which also improves mood, memory, and focus.

As you can see, there are so many reasons to turn to healthy food to improve focus- so the next time you need a brain boost- just grab a handful of blueberries or slice an avocado and throw it into a salad full of green leafy vegetables! You will absolutely feel the brain boost!
