
We talked recently about the importance of daily movement and the benefits movement has on your body. Daily movement can relieve pain, is good for your heart, improves your memory and helps control your weight. So what can you do when you are stuck in the office all day or if you work from home and are sitting in front of your computer? Maybe you are looking for exercises you can do without leaving the house.
We have some exercises you can do at home or from your desk to help you stay focused, relieve stress and your blood pumping!
Chair Lifts - strengthens your triceps
Leg Extensions - strengthen your quadriceps
Shoulder Stretches - relieves stress and loosens shoulders
Finger Stretches - relieves tension from typing or writing all day
Leg Lifts - Strengthens thigh muscles and your core
Ab Twister - helps reduce lower back pain and build abdominal muscles
Booty Clench - tones your buttocks
Neck Rolls - relieve tension in your neck
Forward Bend - stretches lower back
Cat-Cow Stretch - stretches hips, back, abdomen, chest and lung muscles
Arm Circles - keep arms and shoulders loose
Jumping Jacks - get your blood pumping
Squats - strengthens muscles in legs and buttocks
Plank - strengthens core
Ankle Stretch - relieves stiffness from sitting all day or wearing heels
Chest Stretch - relieves shoulder and chest muscles
