7 Must Have Products for Self Care

When was the last time you did something for yourself? I’m not talking about buying a coffee at your favorite shop or that shirt you’ve been wanting. Something to take care of you?

We go through life most days just going through the motions and taking care of everyone else. It’s time to take some time to take care of YOURSELF!

We’ve come up with 7 must-have products for your self-care.

  1. A Good Bubble Bath. A long hot bubble bath is not only relaxing, but it also gives us a chance to let go of the stress from that day and detoxes our bodies. Trade your phone for some aromatherapy candles and come out recharged and energized. A hot bubble bath before bed will also help you sleep better and wake up refreshed and ready to take on the day. Many people don’t realize they are magnesium deficient. Adding Epsom salt can help balance your body’s magnesium level and relieve anxiety or depression, spasms, or cramps in your muscles, migraines, poor memory, and constipation. Epsom salt can also help in skin issues such as dry skin, inflammation, redness, or roughness.

  2. A Face Mask. A face mask has many benefits, it can tighten your skin, make it softer, help with acne, wrinkles, hydration, and many more! Find one that is right for your skin and apply before you take your bath. Your face will thank you!

  3. A Detox Drink/Drink Water. These can all help in your self-care. Drink a detox tea to help your body rid the toxins you’ve consumed during the day. Or increase your water intake during the day. Drinking the right amount of water can help with headaches, improve your mood, flush out toxins, improve your complexion, and many more benefits.

  4. Good Book. I know this one seems like it has nothing to do with self-care, but there are so many benefits to picking up a good book. Reading is like exercise for our brain, we can relax and unwind, it can help you sleep better (from an actual book not digital), rescue stress, enhance your imagination and vocabulary, and deepen your empathy.
