3 Workouts When You Don’t Have Access to a Gym



Healthy Lifers focuses on movement, not just exercise. You just need to move. If you’re used to using a gym or have found that your home workouts just don’t get done because of the new normal; then we’ve got a few tips to help you get that movement in easily.


  1. Every time you use the bathroom, do 10 squats. This is super quick and easy and allows you to stretch your body, especially if you spend most of the day sitting. Each time you use the bathroom when you’re done, take a few minutes and knock out a few quick squats.

  2. Every 60 minutes walk around your house. This could be a simple walk from one room to another; check out the house and check in on your family. It’s also a great way to keep your house clean if you walk around your house and see something out of place; take the time to put it back. This helps keep your blood pumping and your health at top of mind.

  3. When you get upset or mad, do 5 pushups. This is a great way to get a little muscle strength workout done; and also a good way to release some of the negative toxins that you are experiencing when you are upset or mad. Take a few minutes and do a few pushups (girl pushups are OK!)


Keeping your body moving a little each day is vital to a healthy lifestyle. Take a few minutes and knock out these few quick workouts.
